WHO IS iCAMP FOR?

iCamp is for all youth who are in years 6-9 in school.

WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP?

HOW DO WE PAY?

Your key leader will send you payment info. You will then pay your church directly. iCamp will invoice each church for the amount total amount once all registrations have come through.

WHAT DOES THE COST INCLUDE?

The iCamp fee includes activities, all meals, programming, bands, entertainment, seminars and activities. Campers are responsible for their own transport (with your youth community) to and from camp.

DOES iCAMP CATER TO SPECIAL DIETS?

We cater for vegetarian or gluten-free diets outside of the normal camp menu. If you have other dietary requirements, we can provide you with some (limited) chiller space and a separate area for meals to be heated. You will need to bring your own named meals which can be stored in the allocated chiller space. There will be microwaves available. Unfortunately, no discount applies for ‘part eating’ of camp food.

It's vital that our medical team know all your dietary requirements in case of a medical emergency so please let us know when you register for camp.  If you have questions about special diet catering, then please contact the iCamp Admin Team

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF LEADERS AND ADULTS?

Intermediates will come as a church group with a ratio of 1-7 leader to young person. They will stay with their group and will be cared for by the leaders that come with them from their church (much like Easter Camp). There must be a key leader for every group. The key leader needs to be 18 years and over. Groups will be allocated a number of cabins depending on the size of the group. Some groups will be in the dorm style sleeping area. Key leaders then organise who goes into what cabin before camp. There must be a leader in every cabin.

Leaders are at camp for the young people – not themselves, so we ask you to:

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ARRIVE AT CAMP?

Upon arrival a volunteer will meet your vehicle at the entrance to camp to let you know where to park and where to check-in. Each camper must then register with iCamp in reception area. Registrations start at 6:30 pm.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Each camper will need to bring the following:

Some of the activities involve getting dirty. Please make sure your child brings appropriate clothing for this.

WHAT'S EXPECTED OF CAMPERS?

CAN I GO TO iCAMP ALONE?

No, you must register and go with a youth group. If you are not part of a youth group, email us so we can link you up with one near you. We do not accept individual registrations.

HOW DO I REGISTER A CHURCH GROUP?

Easy, the key leader or youth pastor needs to contact the admin team to let us know that you would like to register your church youth group. We'll ask them for some information and then your group will appear in the online registration form.

If you have any queries, please contact the youth pastor connected with your church or email admin@icamp.org.nz.
